Abstract
Two kinds of robust modified lead titanate piezoelectric ceramics were prepared with conventional solid state reaction methods, corresponding to two techniques of decreasing tetragonality and thermal expansion coefficient to reduce those crack stresses resulting from ferroelectric phase transition. Their structure, dielectric, ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties were experimentally studied in comparison for the Pb0.88Sm0.08Ti0.98Mn0.02O3 and Pb0.6Bi0.4(Ti0.75Zn0.15Fe0.10)O3 systems.
