Dielectric Response of Arbitrary-Shaped Clusters Studied by the Finite Element Method

Abstract

The finite element method is used for study of the 2–component heteregoneous samples. The effective permittivity of the grainy 2–component sample can be described by the linear rational functions. The random texture of irregular clusters is better described by the mixing formulas of the Lichtenecker or logarithmic type.
