Abstract
(1−x)Bi(Zn1/2Ti1/2)O3– xBa(Fe1/2Nb1/2)O3ceramics were prepared by solid-state reaction method where x = 0.7, 0.8 and 0.9. The pure perovskite phase was found to be stable for all compositions. The XRD results demonstrated that the structure of ceramics changed to the cubic phase with increasing BFN content. Dielectric constant of ceramics tended to increase with increasing amounts of BFN and decreased with increasing frequency of measurement. The dielectric loss of the ceramics was lower than 2.0 at room temperature and increased when increasing temperature up to 350°C. Relaxation phenomena of non-Debye type has been observed.
