ABSTRACT

Operating frequency of graphene and lithium niobate in ferroelectric memory are studied at low frequency terahertz range. Terahertz time-domain spectrum is measured and analyzed, which shows terahertz absorption is very small and terahertz transmittance is close to 97.7%. Raman spectrum of graphene shows that, carbon atoms resonance and two-phonon resonance occur in high terahertz range. Raman spectrum of pure lithium niobate crystal shows in NbO6 groups, niobate atoms vibrate at 253.037 cm−1 and Nb atomic vibration is used for storing data 1 and 0. Therefore, graphene-lithium niobate memory may operate in low terahertz range.
