Domain mechanism of dielectric losses in the triglycine sulfate crystal

ABSTRACT

The dependences of the dielectric loss tgδ on amplitude of the electric field E in multidomain triglycine sulfate single crystal below the phase transition temperature were studied. It was found that in weak fields the rapid growth of tgδ with field E occurs, then the dependence tgδ(E) passes the peak, and then decreases. The results discussed in the framework of model taking into account the interaction between domain walls and point defects.
