ABSTRACT

In this study, various amount of SnO2 was doped into Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3 ceramics. The effects of SnO2 doping on phases, densities and microstructures, energy storage densities of prepared BST ceramics were studied. XRD patterns indicated that Sn4+ has entered the BST lattice. SnO2 also showed the effect to inhibit the grain growth. When SnO2 content was 0.05 mol%, the energy storage efficiency can be greatly improved.
