The 10th Asian Meeting on Ferroelectricity (AMF-10) was organized along with the International Conference on Technologically Advanced Materials (ICTAM) at the University of Delhi (DU), New Delhi, India from November 7–11, 2016. The conference was organized by DU and Society for Technologically Advanced Materials of India (STAMI), Nagpur, India. The conference provided a unique platform for the students and researchers to interact with each other and established new collaborations.

The ICTAM-AMF10 provided a platform to interact among researchers working in the interdisciplinary areas of technologically advanced materials. The conference was a testimony of more than 700 participants from 25 countries, and included one keynote presentation, 10 plenary lectures, and had six parallel sessions with 130 inviting lectures, 80 contributory presentations, and over 460 poster presentations.

The AMF-10 Conference Proceedings published in Ferroelectrics Volumes 516 through 519 are intended to be useful for the scientists and engineers working in the interdisciplinary areas of ferroelectrics, nanotechnology, and new materials for advanced technology. The Proceedings should provide an indispensable source of information for scientists, researchers at academic and industrial level, and engineers working in the fields of materials science, physics, chemistry, nanoscience and nanotechnology, engineering, and bioscience. The content is divided into several subsections including energy harvesting, nanostructured materials, and magnetic materials. The manuscripts were carefully placed in these subsections after the peer reviewing process where authors made corrections to their papers as suggested by the reviewers.

We would like to thank all participants for making the occasion an extremely productive event and we are thankful to the reviewers, for their efforts in reviewing these manuscripts. We are indebted to the sponsors of this event including Department of Science and Technology, Defense Research and Development Organization (India), JEOL, Insmart systems (India), Marine India, Wynker systems, and AntsLab. Our special thanks to Taylor and Francis for their participation and support to publish the AMF-10 Proceedings.
