ABSTRACT

Polymer microparticles with size-controlled single pore was synthesized successfully using seeded emulsion polymerization. The pore size can be changed with relevant parameters. A scanning electron microscope(SEM) was used to characterize their pore size and morphology. Through measurement and calculation of SEM images, the change rules of pore size with the amount of monomer and porogen were taken.
