Abstract
Binary and ternary AB′0.5B″0.5O3 oxides with a complex perovskite structure, possessing the consecutive ferroelectric or antiferroelectric phase transitions at TC and ferromagnetic, antiferromagnetic, or ferrimagnetic phase transitions at TN, are considered together with classical ferroelectrics and antiferroelectrics. The common correlations between these temperatures, their differences TС-TN and interatomic bond A-O (δAO) or B-O (δBO) strains are revealed. Some common correlations between their temperatures TС, TN, TС-TN differences, and δAO or δBO are revealed. It is established that these differences for multiferroics are in common dependences with classical ferroelectrics and antiferroelectrics.
