Abstract

The aim of this work was to develop a new method alternative to high intensity focused ultrasound for spatial and temporal localization of ultrasonic heating effects using cylindrical standing waves. Computer simulations and experimental validation of the standing cylindrical waves generation and the viscoelastic media heating inside a cylindrical piezoelectric transducer were carried out.
