Abstract
A technique for nondestructive evaluation is described by using a Lamb wave device. The device has an inter-digital transducer on a thin piezoelectric ceramic plate. A sound beam is radiated and detected at a solid-liquid inter-face by the transducer. The direction of the sound beam sent into a testing material is variable remarkably by changing the frequency because of the dispersive property of the Lamb wave
