Abstract
The infrared reflection spectra of Tris-sarcosine calcium chloride-bromide and the Raman spectra have been obtained for T < Tc in the polarization E//Y or y, z(yy)y, z. One nonpolar Raman active and two weakly polar infrared active soft modes have been observed. These soft modes are interpreted by the coupling of low lying optical modes with a fast relaxator in a phase transition of prevalent order-disorder type.
