Abstract
Low frequency Raman spectra of CsH2PO4 and CsD2PO4 single crystals show the appearance of Brillouin-zone boundary modes characteristic of the high-pressure antiferroelectric phase, in the vicinity of the para-ferroelectric phase transition. The intensity versus temperature curve reaches its maximum at T=TC and is compared to theoretical curve given by an Ising-type model.
