Time-resolved X-ray diffraction measurement of electrostrictive coefficients in PZT-ceramics

Pages 91-94 | Published online: 08 Feb 2011

Abstract

The electrostrictive coefficients Q11, Q12 and Q44 of a modified (60/40) PZT-ceramic were measured above Curie temperature in a time-resolved X-ray diffraction experiment using a position-sensitive detector. The described experiment produces single-crystal values from materials that cannot be obtained as single crystals.
