Thermally stimulated depolarization (TSD) of doped KDP in the paraelectric phase

Abstract

The dielectric properties of Ni and Fe doped KDP have been investigated by means of the thermally stimulated depolarization technique. Depolarization peaks in the range 150 K - 300 K appear. The peak positions are independent of time and temperature of polarization being attributed to dipolar defects formed by an impurity in substituting a K ion and a compensating K or H vacancy.
