The influence of the magnetic field on the circular bulk photovoltaic effect (BPE) is observed. For the piezoelectric crystal Bi12, GeO20, the Hall component of the circular photovoltaic current is observed, from which the mobility of the nonthermalized carriers is estimated. It was found, that the mobility of the nonthermalized carriers, which are responsible for the circular BPE, exceed the drift mobility by five orders of magnitude. The obtained result shows that the thermalization of carriers leads to the transition from the band to the hopping mechanism of conductivity.
