Curie-weiss behaviour of the paraelectric LiNH4SO4

Abstract

The Curie-Weiss behaviour of LiNH4SO4 (LAS) was studied using static dielectric data. The Curie-Weiss law with a temperature-independent background holds well within a temperature range of ˜9K above Tc, when taking into account corrections for the sample edge capacitance and the thermal expansion. The permittivity measurement and data processing are discussed in detail.
