Abstract
The luminescence induced by the polarization reorientations and ferroelectric phase induction under applied electric field is studied in diffuse phase transition ferroelectric PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3. The luminescence has been investigated in different sinusoidal and pulsed electric fields with the field strength E 2≤10 kV/cm, at temperatures T = 200 − 370 K, the uniaxial mechanical pressure σ≤200 kG/cm2 has been applied in some experiments. The specific features of the electroluminescence at diffuse phase transition have been observed. The relation between the luminescence behavior and the diffuse phase transition stages is discussed.
