Low T quantum effects in high Tc ferroelectrics

Abstract

Existing low temperature specific heat and spontaneous polarization data for LiNbO3, BaTiO3 and NaNO3, as well as those for TGS, are analyzed in the light of calculated results for the elementary excitation spectrum (dipole waves) of a lattice of interacting dipoles.
