Abstract

Within the framework of phenomenological theory it is shown that charged frozen-in point defects in ferroelectrics with one axis of spontaneous polarization give rise to a strong anomaly of imaginary part of dielectric susceptibility at the frequencies far less than the characteristic phonon frequency. The anomaly obtained may bear a relation to observed peak in inelastic light scattering in lead germanate.
