Abstract
In the paraelectric phase the electrostrictive properties of PbZrxTi1-xO3 solid solutions exibit anomalous variations for 0.93<x<1. Besides changes in the vicinity of the known tricritical point (x≈0.94) the dependences dQ11/dT, dQ12/dT and Q12 (x) showed distinct anomalies near 0.97<x<0.98. Moreover, Curie-Weiss law ε=C/(T-To)γ, γ=1, is only obeyd at x=0.98.
