Specific heat of hydrogen selenate crystals

Abstract

Results of calorimetric studies have been presented for RbHSeO4, NH4HSeO4 and ND4DSeO4 crystals. Studies of the deuteration influence of the NH4HSeO4 crystals specific heat have indicated that the crystals deuterated in ca. 90% grow in the metastable phase exhibiting a phase transition at temperature of 227.8 K, whereas after annealing they pass to the polar phase showing the phase sequence analogous to that for the non-deuterated crystals.
