Abstract
PZT-Laser intensity modulation method (PZT-LIMM) was recently used to study phase transition in different systems of unpoled ferroelectric ceramics, PZT-95/5, PSZT, BaTiO3 and semiconductive BaTiO3 ceramics. The “heart'’ of the experimental setup, the sample holder and detector were carefully designed for the present study, which could be used with the sample having transition temperature up to 700 K. The thermal expansion coefficient in the sample as a function of temperature was also measured. The results show that the thermal expansion coefficient plays the most important role at the transition for using PZT-LIMM.
