Role of displacive ferroelectrics in governing the electrical conductivity of Li2o-b2o3 solid electrolyte

Pages 431-432 | Received 29 Aug 1988, Published online: 10 Feb 2011

Abstract

In recent years solid electrolytes have gained importance because of their potential application in many technological devices. Lithium conducting solid electrolyte advantageous as it produces cell voltage because of highly electropositive nature of lithium. In addition, several cathode materials can be employed in lithium transporting system, because of their relatively high lithium diffusion coefficient.
