Abstract

Polar materials have become increasingly important for microwave and millimeter technique. A number of passive and active devices can be realized by the electrical control of the bulk dielectric properties of ferroelectrics. Thus there is a critical need for materials with large electrooptic coefficients (large nonlinearity) and small losses.
