Abstract

Theoretical and experimental studies of diffraction efficiency (η) and holographic gain (Γ) as a function of applied field and holographic grating spacing in PLZT 10/65/35 are reported. The experimental phenomena are explained by the fact that the drift mechanisms of hologram recording is strongly affected by the finite concentration of trap or donor centers. Further experiments show that recording is disturbed by holographic scattering.
