Abstract

The structural study of (NH₄)₂SO₄-R₂SO₄ mixed crystals (R = K, Rb, Cs) are made in order to study the curious behaviour of spontaneous polarization in (NH₄)₂SO₄. The results show that the spontaneous polarization of (NH₄)₂SO₄ is composed of two independent sublattice polarizations of which values are almost the same order as usual ferroelectrics.
