Abstract
Perovskite solid solution ceramics PZT-Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 with the phase boundary between ferro-and antiferroelectrics are prepared. By addition of Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3 to PZT, an extension of ferroelectric region in phase diagram and a phase transition between FR(LT) and FR(HT) accompanied a pyroelectric coefficient of 289 nC/cm2K at room temperature was observed. For the ceramics with the composition near the phase boundary, an electrical field induced phase transition has been measured.
