Abstract
Dielectric ceramics of lead-based perovskite represented (PbaCab{(Mg1/3Nb2/3)xTiy(Ni1/2W1/2)z}O2+a+b was fired in various oxygen pressure. The composition of A-site excess (a + b > 1) specimens fired in low oxygen pressure had high resistivity than the stoichiometry and the a-site deficient (a + b < = 1) one. It was found that the conduction type of these ceramics was changed p to n-type with decreasing of the oxygen pressure, and the specimens fired in not n-type region had high resistivity. Multilayer ceramic capacitor with copper electrode was prepared using the A-site excess composition and firing in controlled low oxygen atmosphere.
