Abstract
Physics of the electrostrictor ceramics is physics of ferroelectrics with diffuse phase transitions. Some relevant concepts put forward in works2-5.9-11 are shortly discussed. Properties of some ceramics are described and compared, and the best material is chosen. Some applications are discussed: actuators, monomorph, driving plate of vibrational electric motor.
