Abstract

Collective dipolar freezing of K0.989Li0.011TaO3 is evidenced by dielectric dispersion measurements in the Millihertz regime to occur at Tg ∼ 33 K. The width of the dielectric loss spectrum reveals a sudden spread of the distribution of relaxation times towards τmax = ∞ as T ↪ Tg in accordance with a Vogel-Fulcher type law.
