Doped Superconductors investigation using high-T Ferroelectrics models

Pages 117-118 | Published online: 10 Feb 2011

Abstract

The renewed interest in the field of doped cuprates (YBaCuO, BiSrCaCuO and TlBaCaCuO) is due to the analogy between doped High Temperature Ferroelectrics -HTFE- and doped High Temperature Superconductors -HTS families-. Concepts and multibody models for doped High Temperature Ferroelectric (HTFE) are transfered in the field of Supraconductivity since 1987 (the “precursors”). Using this analogy, mechanisms in the strong doping region are investigated in High Critical Temperature Superconductor oxides. This paper focuses mainly on the Order-disorder and Finite Size Scaling (FSS) concepts in relation with the doping level. Different aspects of the critical disorder in abnormal 3d8,9,10 − 2p6 covalent materials are discussed.
