Abstract

Attenuation of ultrasonic waves with frequencies from 10 up to 100MHz were measured in YBa₂Cu₃O_x both ceramic and single crystalline samples. In ceramic samples the values of x varied from x=7·0 to x=6·0. The attenuation peaks near 430,250 and 100K were observed. The nature of the peaks are discussed.
