Abstract
Producing the high temperature superconductor material of the type Bi2-x Pbx Sr2 Can-1 Cun O2n+4+z with n = 3, great problems are encountered to obtain single phase material. In this work, we use Bi- containing and Bi-free precursors reacted at different temperatures. In this way, we avoid the undesired second phases and obtain in a fifth of the time the desired in a good quality, i.e. a nearly single phase material in which by X-ray analysis practically no second phase can be detected, and with a Tc = 110 K.
