Abstract

In the late nineteen fifties, at the Physics Department of the Univ. of Tokyo to which Prof. Terutaro Nakamura belonged at that time, the parametron was invented. Following this, the Electro-Communication Institute, to which I belonged at that time, was in a hurry to develop computors using the ferroelectic parametron element. It was a lucky chance for me to know Prof. Nakamura and his interest in the subject of domain growth.
