Abstract
Electron paramagnetic resonance studies of the phase transition in RbIn(MoO4)2 are presented. It has been shown that in the stress-free sample a transition can lead to the 3-q incommensurate state whereas in the stress-affected crystal it leads to the 1-q incommensurate state with a simultaneous occurrence of the ferroelastic domain structure.
