Abstract
The polar regions in polycrystalline Ba(Ti1-x Snx)O3 in the temperature range 600K - Tp, where Tp is the temperature of para-ferroelectric phase transition, are independent of the content of Sn-substitution. A decrease of volume of polar regions at the increase of x leads to the rapid decrease of relative volume of ferroelectric phase below Tp. It is connected with the decrease of ferroelectric clamping and with the increase of diffuseness of para-ferroelecric phase transition in this material.
