A series-resonance circuit with ferroelectric TGS-capacitor may be driven to exhibit period-doubling and chaotic behaviour. These effects are closely related to polarization reversal. Near the period-doubling bifurcation the resonance-circuit can be used to amplify periodic perturbations of the driving voltage near half the fundamental frequency. This behaviour is investigated in dependence on the distance of the system from the bifurcation point.
