Destruction of modulated structure by high carrier density in high-Tc superconductors

Pages 335-343 | Published online: 16 Mar 2011

A modulated structure observed in many oxide superconductors has already been explained by using a localized 2D electron-hole system. It is now shown by considering the interaction between the localized electrons and Fermi electrons that the modulated structure in the superconductors disappears when the carrier density is high enough even if they are superconducting.
