Quantum effect in H(D)-ordering phase transitions

Abstract

For various H(D)-bonded ferroelectrics, the general equation for the transition temperature Tc is presented including the information of bond lengths. It is speculated that the difference in H(D) quantum motion leads to the isotope effect on geometric values of these substances and on Tc.
