Abstract
The correlation between piezoelectric and electret properties of ceramic solid solutions with the composition xPbTiO3-(0.98-x)PbZrO3-0.02PbW0.5Cd0.5O3 for 0.445≤x≤0.610 polarized in the negative corona discharge was studied. The maximum piezoelectric constants and time constant of electret charge decay at x=0.475 may be explained by the combination of high values of remanent polarization and small unit-cell deformation ensuring the low relaxation velocity of remanent polarization and a screening homocharge.
