Abstract

The grain-oriented barium titanite and lead titanite thin films were prepared by the sol-gel processing of metal alkoxide solutions and solvents. The structural, surface morphology and optical properties of thin films were discussed. The thickness, composition and interface reaction of thin films were also investigated by RBS (Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy). Dielectric constants depended on temperature and ferroelectric properties were measured.
