Abstract
Infrared spectra of [NH2(CH3)2]3Sb2Br9 have been investigated across its phase transitions at 228 and 164 K. The studies show that the vibrational states of dimethylammonium cations change in the vicinity of the ferroelectric-paraelectric phase transition temperature. The results obtained in the ferroelectric phase may be discussed in terms of the pseudo-spin phonon coupling.
