Abstract
The origin of random electric fields, which is based on the piezoelectric coupling and the random elastic fields induced by the substitutional disorder of ions with different ionic radii, has been investigated in mixed crystals of KDP family. Interaction of acid protons subject to the ice rule condition are presented as the local random anisotropy for mixed crystals of RADP type. It is shown that coexistence of long-range order (for up-down/lateral configurations) with glass state (for lateral/up-down configurations) can take place in the mixed crystals of RADP type.
