Size dependence of domain wall spacing in thiourea

Abstract

The mean spacing of the ferroelectric domain walls was estimated from the peak position of the X-ray diffuse scattering. The mean distance depends on the sample thickness along the ferroelectric axis. The anomalous maximum of the dielectric constant at 161K is discussed from the experimental results about the size effect and the electric field effect.
