Abstract
Far-infrared and near-millimetre dielectric response of Rb0.75(ND4)0.25D2PO4 (DRADP-25) has been determined by evaluation of reflectivity (30-650 cm−1) and complex transmittance (9-23 cm−1) spectra at temperatures of 10-300 K. In addition to polar phonons, the submillimetre response shows an overdamped soft mode like in DRADP-50. Due to this soft mode, the low-frequency dielectric data (104-107Hz) show a broad permittivity maximum near 145 K. Another lower-frequency dispersion, specific for the dipolar glass phase, was observed below 100 K.
