Abstract
EPR studies of [Mg(H2O)6,]XF6 (X = Si,Ge) single crystals have been performed using Mn2’ paramagnetic probes. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters have been determined in the low and high temperature phases of both systems and discussed in the light of observed structural changes. The EPR line behaviour in the intermediate phase are analysed in the framework of an incommensurate and order-disorder models.
