Abstract
It has been shown that the Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) signal has a bell-like dependence on the concentration of off-center Li+ impurity ions in KTaO3, in the presence of a saturation external electric field. This uncommon dependence is explained quantitatively on the basis of a percolation model. The latter gives direct support to the validity of the percolation model for the KTaO3:Li+ system.
