Abstract
The influence of a bias field in the dielectric permittivity and relaxor behavior was investigated in PLZT 9/65/35 “pure” and doped with Cr2O3 WO3. The results show that the bias field reduces the frequency dispersion of the dielectric response without changing the phase transition diffusion degree. In terms of the two-level model, a reduction of the activation energy for the microdomain motion with increasing electric field was observed.
