Abstract

Ceramic solid solutions of PbSc1/2Nb1/2O3-PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3(PSN-PMN) have been synthesized by solid state reaction from mixtures of oxides or carbonates. Ceramic samples were produced by traditional ceramic and hot pressing technologies. Ceramic and electrostrictive properties have been measured.
